I had to think of this while I started reading Tom’s book. This is disturbing and should not be watched if you are under the age of 18 years. I have spent three month in Sierra Leone with Mercy Ships. While I was there the civil war offically ended. This documentary is raw and disturbing, but it helps you understand some of the challenges African war torn countries face. The Gospel speaks powerfully into this breakdown of neighborly relationships. Without forgiveness and reconciliation it is hard to imagine a way forward for Sierra Leone.
